OK day today - I didn't work out because this cold is just bugging me...it isn't anything serious, but I had a big headache and just overall yuckiness. I ate OK though, even though I made a crazy dinner of roast beef, fresh baked bread, twice baked potatoes and corn on the cob (well, I didn't really make anything...the crock pot did the roast beef, the bread maker did the bread and the store made the potatoes and corn for me :) )
I was within my limits, though at the upper limit.
I'm getting kind of tired of being "healthy" haha! I mean honestly...I never went above 150 in weight ever, no matter how much I ate. I'm now eating (EASILY!) 500 calories less each day than I used to, if not way more, and working out, and still nothing...I know I could work out more and that would probably help, but I just don't have the ability to do much more without going to a gym, which we can't afford right now. Blah.
But on and on I'll trudge...just getting depressing really.

Labor Day 2009
A good day today...I worked out twice (once with EA Active and then took a walk with the girls to the lake, about 1 mile round trip) and ate all within my "levels" and at the lower end.
I have a cold, so we'll see how that manifests itself in the next few days...I'm going to try to drink lots of water and get lots of rest!

The weekend - Sept. 5-6
I did work out Saturday (yay for me!) which proved to be quite annoying at times as I had Abby trying to do the exercises with me, Nicole sitting behind me commenting, both girls arguing at one point over something...grrrr...
I ate really good for breakfast and lunch on Saturday but we went out to dinner that night (as we always do on Saturday) so I'm sure that threw my count off. Sunday was ok for breakfast and dinner, but we were at an apple farm for lunch and I would have been fine if I had just stayed away from the frozen custard! I went over by about 300 calories...drat.
Let's see what I can accomplish Monday with everyone being home...

Friday Sept 4th
I went to the mall today for lunch - I could have ruined my whole day...but you know what? I went online to Subway's Nutritional Info (I knew that was probably the healthiest place there) and I figured out exactly what I could eat with what calories I had. So I had a 6 inch on wheat with ham, cheese and honey mustard (that is all, I'm picky, remember?). It is something I'd eat normally anyhow, but I would have gotten mayo too, so I just got honey mustard instead to give it a better "kick" and way less calories!
I volunteered at the school again, but I drove this time so I could get back in time to work out with EA Active. It is a little rushed sometimes when I do that, but I still get it done with time to spare to walk up to Abby's bus stop (which still kills my calves, by the way...does that ever stop?)
I ate 1, 228 calories but was pretty far off with protein and a little bit off with fat (not enough of both). Really got to work on those! Carbs are no problem with me, haha! Maybe that is my problem!

Thursday Sept. 3
OK - I'm going to stop writing down every single little thing that I eat...at least on here. I do log it in at sparkpeople.com though, so no worries!
Yesterday was a fairly decent day. I was helping at school, so walked there and back in the morning (1.4 miles) and then later in the evening, there was a Girl Scout orientation, so Abby, Nicole and I (along with some friends) walked to the school for that too. (so another 1.4 miles!) I didn't do EA Active because I just didn't...I like to do it while Abby is at school and I ran out of time in the morning. But the walking made up for it I think. Not quite as much sweating as I do with the EA Active, but worked my calves quite well!
I ate pretty well yesterday too. The same old stuff for breakfast, some leftover pasta for lunch and chicken with brown rice and green beans for dinner. 1,212 calories with enough carbs but not quite enough fat or protein grams. (and yes, there is a minimum amount of fat you need in life! Of course it should be healthy fat!)
I hurt like heck from my EA Active on Tuesday (lots of strength training that day on it and tons of lunges!) but the walking helped stretch me out a bit I think.

Wednesday Sept 2nd
Rest Day on EA Active - I might get out and walk later tonight though after dinner.
Breakfast: Multi-grain cheerios w/skim milk and 4oz. OJ
Snack: Vanilla Dannon Activia yogurt with grapenuts and a glass of water
Lunch: Tuna on whole wheat with 1 Tbsp. mayo and a glass of water
Dinner: Two slices of Papa John's pepperoni pizza (and I didn't even look at the dessert pizza I ordered for the rest of the family...and totally shunned the garlic butter...it was hard, but I did it darn it!) with water
Water: 4 glasses
Calories: 1,286
Carbs: 184
Fat: 37
Protein: 61
A good day today - I look at it and I didn't eat much at all, but I guess that is what eating "within your calorie range" looks like huh?

24 minutes
1 glass of water
Breakfast: Multi-grain cheerios w/skim milk; 100-calorie bagel with 1Tbsp peanut butter and a half glass of OJ
Lunch: Turkey sandwich on whole wheat (with cheddar cheese, mustard, lite mayo) and a glass of water
Snack: 1 Oatmeal Dark Chocolate Chip cookie with glass of water
Dinner: 1 slice leftover Chuck E Cheese pizza and 1/2 C. cottage cheese and a glass of water
4 glasses of water
Calories: 1,278
Carbs: 164
